alright- i got a whole fukin lot- BUT WHO IS READIN ALL THIS-

“Raibu, did you scare him?” Shinda asked with a giggle. Raibu nodded, glancing over at her while Tod and Gou looked on in confusion, not being able to see Shinda since she was just a simple ghost.

“Shinda’s here?” Tod asked Raibu, raising an eyebrow in amusement with his arms crossed over his chest.

“Of course she is,” Raibu responded. “I’m not going anywhere without her.”

“Yeah, Tod. Shut up,” Gou laughed, Tod gave him a glare before turning away from the group.

“I’m going home, the fight is boring,” Tod grumbled and began walking away with long and slow strides. Gou followed behind him.

“You wanna come too, Raibu?” Gou exclaimed, glancing back at them with a stupid little smile.

“Nah,” Raibu shrugged, looking away from Gou and Tod. “I have better things to take care of.”

The two students grunted and screamed while they kept throwing bloody blows, one student throwing a left hook while the other stumbled back and yelled in anger. Raibu let out a content sigh as he turned away from the students while beginning to slowly step away. Shinda looked away from the fight and turned to Raibu.

“Where are you going?” she asked, slowly hovering toward him.

“To talk to my parents,” Raibu responded in an irritated tone, continuing to walk away.

“But your parents are dea- RAIBU!” Shinda exclaimed, rushing towards Raibu quickly. She looked into his eyes with a look of pure sorrow and sadness. “Are you okay?”

Raibu turned away, shrugging and continuing to walk, “Yeah. Just a little mad.”

“So then where are you actually going?” Shinda asked again.

“I just- just wanna go play,” Raibu grumbled and let his steps hit the ground rougher, making a subtle tapping sound.

Shinda nodded and kept following him happily.

As they both walked and hovered throughout the small town, Raibu took deep and slow breaths to calm himself. By the time that they made it to the neighborhood where the both of them lived, the sun was almost gone into the horizon. It casted a bright, golden and orange glow across the houses and trees. Shinda looked at the sun with amazement, her hands clasped together while she smiled.

“It’s beautiful,” she whispered to herself more than anyone else around.

Raibu stopped his steps for a moment, glancing at Shinda. He took in the look of how her hair seemed to glow and shimmer with the light laying on it, the way that the sun casted highlights in her eyes like nothing else could. He eyed her injury on her right cheek that seemed fresh and new though it had been there for years now. A large, open laceration across her midriff that was deep enough to expose her ribs. The dried blood on her clothing sparkled, Raibu wasn’t afraid of Shinda’s wounds, no, he looked at them with wonder, his eyes wide with a speechless mouth that hung open slightly.

“It really is, isn’t it?” Raibu looked towards the sun, lifting his hand to cast a shadow over his eyes so that he could see more clearly without the sun blinding him. Shinda laughed when she saw that.

“Can’t handle the light?” she asked, teasing him jokingly while looking back at him.

“I may have Angel’s Blood, but they only allow me to see ghosts, not the sun,” Raibu chuckled and looked at Shinda again. Shinda laughed and continued to hover alongside him.

Once they got to their small house in a small and barely populated area of town, Raibu immediately went to his room with Shinda following behind. Raibu grabbed his crimson and black guitar on the stand and threw the strap over his shoulder while Shinda stood near his messy bed.

“Ready?” Raibu asked with a smirk, getting the guitar pick ready to strum the strings.

“Mhm!” Shinda nodded with a smile on her face, closing her eyes as Raibu played his heart out.

A soft yet intense melody that his father would play when he was 6 years old, just before he died. Shinda hummed along with the beat, gently tossing her head from side to side while Raibu played. Raibu clenched his jaw, not wanting to mess it up while he closed his eyes tightly.

Chapter 2

Raibu slept on his bed, his head resting on his soft pillow as he took deep yet slow and soft breaths. His eyes closed gently, making it much easier for people to see the scar across his left eye. He tossed in his bed, turning over and wrapping his arms around his pillow as if it was a real person. His grip was tight, looking like he wasn’t going to let go anytime soon. Shinda poked her head out of the closet, where she always slept. Her eyes closed slightly as they darted around the room. Raibu’s phone beeped, Shinda jumped like something just jumped at her from the dark. Raibu stirred, sitting up before falling abruptly back onto his bed like a child.

“Mmh,” Raibu groaned, shoving his face into his pillow.

“Raibu,” Shinda hovered over closer to him and his phone. “Wake up, you got mentioned in something.”

“In what?” Raibu asked, muffling his voice in the soft, big pillow. His eyes closed tightly.

“In a post on an app you have,” Shinda responded, looking closely at his phone with squinted eyes. Raibu stirred awake, sitting up and grabbing his device off of the wooden nightstand it was charging on. He looked closer at his screen, studying the notification deeply.

“Who the hell…” Raibu trailed off, opening his phone with his fingerprint. His background was his fathers guitar, edited to make it look like it’s glowing and in space.

“What is it?” Shinda asked, leaning closer to him and his phone.

“A post on GhostlyRoyalz,” Raibu answered, clicking the notice on the top of his screen and positioning the phone between him and Shinda. “Look.”

As the newest King of these ghosts and ghouls, I believe I should have justice for the people who have died to the royal, poor, but most importantly, parents. With that, I have found the people who have killed the King and Queen. That will not be tolerated, @ZenbuRai. Yes, I have found you. And there is no hiding from what your father has done. With the debt of his actions handed to you now, you have more things to worry about. I assure you, it will be justified for what you have done. Even if it was your father. There will be something to worry about that is much more important than debt, your pathetic little job, friends, or Angel’s Blood. You can come to me, or I will have to take more drastic measures, it’s up to you. You will pay. More than debt.

Shinda glanced at Raibu, her eyes widened with worry and shock. Raibu looked at the phone blankly, seemingly not fazed at all.

“Alright, so there's a kid on the internet who is acting like the King, oh well,” Raibu shrugged, putting his phone down and laying back down.

“Raibu?” Shinda’s voice was shaking. Raibu rolled over to face her. “T-the debt?”

Raibu stared at her for a moment as if she was crazy.

“What about it?” Raibu grumbled, turning away again. “Wait,” he was silent for a moment before springing up in his bed, eyes wide with shock and fear, “T-the debt!”

Shinda watched him, moving back slightly. Her hands began shaking violently.

“H-how did he know!?” Raibu yelled, his voice echoing through the room while he stood up and ran into the closet.

“You’ve never told anyone, right?!” Shinda exclaimed, looking out the window with worry and more fear than him.

“Never! That was only meant for us to know! Did you tell anyone!?” Raibu quickly put his normal day clothes on, rushing out of the closet and facing Shinda, breathing heavily.

Shinda shook her head violently. “I-I can’t either way!”

Raibu grabbed his phone again, looking closer at the post. He tried to go to the account that posted the bulletin.

“What!? ‘Private account’?!” he screamed, Shinda hovered back and forth, pacing around the room.

“W-what’s going on!?” Shinda yelled, covering her ears. “Are we gonna go to jail? Are we gonna die? Are we in trouble?” Shinda kept repeating words and phrases of fear and worry, not hearing Raibu calling out to her.

“SHINDA!” Raibu yelled loudly, clapping his hands in front of Shinda while looking her dead in the eyes.

Shinda looked at him, trembling like a cold animal in the winter. “A-are you going to get hurt..?” Shinda whispered, barely choking back tears. Raibu looked at her, uncertainty plastered on his face, but he knew he had to reassure Shinda.

“No,” Raibu whispered back, though he didn’t know if it was true. “I’m not going to get hurt, don’t worry. I promise.”

Shinda ran quickly into Raibu’s arms, hugging him tightly while sobbing softly. Raibu was a bit shocked since they haven’t hugged like this in years, but he hugged back.

“She’s so cold,” Raibu thought as he held her close, feeling how she felt like ice against him. “It’s gonna be okay, Shinda. I promise, okay?”

Shinda looked up at him with tears on her cheeks before nodding slightly, wiping away her own tears. “O-okay. I-if you say so…” Shinda mumbled, hugging him again.

Raibu nodded, taking a deep breath and looking back at his phone. He sighed and kept holding her, rubbing the back of her head gently.

Chapter 3

The walls were dark like the night, stone scattered around the deep hallway. Sounds of dripping water and footsteps echoed throughout the hall, intimidating to the presence of someone who wasn’t expecting anything to happen. The place was freezing, the only heat was seeping through the cracked, old windows. The concrete on the floor broken in the corners while the smell of something burning. The aura of someone sweet yet another someone, someone more sinister in its company. With slow, calculated steps, the new King walked in the walls of the castle. A teenage boy with long orange hair that faded to red at the bottom, wearing a large black robe that covered his arms and legs, held together by a rope around his waist. He grumbled and groaned as a ghost with short pink hair, styled to make it look like she had little horns, flew above the ground next to him, poking at his shoulder.

“Korosu!” she giggled, putting her hands on her cheeks with a smile. Her pink skirt swayed while they walked.

“Shut up, Yurei!” a child-looking ghost boy laughed, running around in the hall and running through the walls. “It’s clear that Master Korosu doesn’t like you!”
